针对自适应MIMO传输系统中信道可支持的独立数据流个数随信道变化的情况,设计了一种适用于自适应MIMO传输系统的线性疏散码(LDC).首先建立了LDC编码矩阵中信息符号数与独立数据流个数的关系,接着提出一种基于最小均方误差(MMSE)的设计准则,并采用梯度下降法和球面坐标转换求得MMSE意义下最优的LDC.仿真结果表明:当独立数据流个数小于发送天线数时,该方法较之其他同类方案可获取1~3dB的性能增益;当独立数据流个数等于发送天线数时,该方法和基于最大化互信息量准则设计出的LDC具有相同的性能.
A linear dispersion code (LDC) that can apply to the adaptive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system is designed due to the fact that the number of independent streams will change with different channel conditions. First, a relationship between the number of symbols in LDC coding matrix and the number of independent streams is established. Then, a minimizing mean square error (MMSE) rule is proposed to design the optimized LDC and the optimum problem is handled by the gradient descent algorithm and the coordinate transform. The simulations show that the proposed LDC can efficiently improve the system performance by 1 to 3 dB for rank deficient channel and obtain the same performance with the maximizing mutual information (MMI) based LDC for full rank channel.
