ZHAO Yong, professor with the School of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He is the head of Extreme Scale Network Computing and Service Laboratory. Before joining the university, he worked at Microsoft on Business Intelligence projects that lew eraged Cloud storage and computing infrastructure. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of Chicago under Dr. lan Foster＇s supervision. Dr. Zhao＇s research areas are in cloud computing, many-task computing, and data intensive computing. Dr. Zhao is a member of ACM, IEEE and CCF.The corresponding author. Email： yongzh04@gmail com. CHEN Liong, R＆D engineer with the department of Natural Language Processing, 13aidu, Inc. He received the M.S. degree in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China. His current research interests include natural language processing, task scheduling and data mining. LI Youfu, graduate student with the School of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China. His current research interests include cloud computing, workflow and task scheduling. TIAN Wenhong, associate professor with the School of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China. His current research interests include resource management and scheduling in Cloud datacenters.
