China＇s new round of urbanization is shifting from ＂land urbanization＂ and ＂population urbanization＂ to ＂smart growth＂ type urbanization characterized by industrial upgrading and urban space intensification.City is serving as the carrier for the concentration and development of service industry,while service industry for urban intensification is developing into intensive growth and structural optimization period.Modern service industry is functioning as a new power system for urban transformation and upgrading.During the ＂12th Five-Year Period＂ and long period afterwards,Jiangsu Province,to achieve the phase target of basic modernization,must adhere to the ＂regional co-development＂,＂urban-rural integration＂ and ＂economic internationalization＂ and other grand strategies,expand urban and regional space to integrate modern service industry development,optimize allocation of space resources and economic development elements,accelerate the building of service economy system,and explore a ＂Jiangsu Path＂ of modern service industry promoting urban transformation.
