A digitalized ultrasonic testing system adopting computer digital technology is established to test and evaluate characteristics of various types of ultrasonic search units.The realization means of hardware, software and many key techniques are discussed in detail.The digital ultrasonic testing system,a mechatronics and measurement system,contains multiple spindle movement control subsystem and function of ultrasonic transducer performance testing.This system overcame many drawbacks of traditional system,such as relying on multi-instrument,costliness,hard operation,poor degree of automation and large human error,which can provide a fast,accurate,reliable detection and evaluation of ultrasonic search units.The system filled the gap of automated evaluating system for ultrasonic search units.
