通过对两种PCI总线接口方案的比较,结合PCI总线开关模块设计实例,采用专用接口芯片PCI9030进行接口电路设计。首先介绍PCI9030芯片的主要特点,然后详细阐述硬件电路设计,主要包括PCI总线接口、局部总线接口、串行E^2PROM接口三部分。采用PLXmon软件,参考PCI9030数据手册配置E^2PROM,最后采用DriverStudio编写PCI板卡WDM驱动程序。结果表明,利用PCI9030实现PCI总线接口电路的设计可提高开发效率,增强可靠性,为下一步开发PXI总线模块仪器打下良好基础。
With the comparison of two PCI bus interface methods, the interface chip PCI9030 is used to design the interface circuit considering the example of switch module of PCI bus. Firstly, the main characters of PCI9030 are introduced. Afterward, a detailed description to the hardware design is given including PCI bus interface, local bus interface and serial E2 PROM interface. The E2 PROM is configured with the reference of PCI9030 datebook with PLXmon,and the WDM driver is programmed with DriverStudio. The results show that it can improve the developing efficiency,and has a good reliability that the PCI9030 is used to realize the design of PCI bus interface circuit, and it is well - grounded to develop the module instruments of PXI bus.
