According to the president＇s R＆D budget for fiscal year 2017 which president Obama submitted in Feb. 2016, the paper analyzes the investment structure of the America＇s fiscal year 2017 R＆D budget, as well as the main department distribution and R＆D plans. Based on summarized the major characteristics and the main fields of R＆D investment in fiscal year 2017, it put forward some focus points and enlightenment.
