With the progress of modern city speed up gradually ,more and more people eager to find a comfortable living environment to adjust the body and mind .Greening of residence areas is an important part of urban green space system and contributes to the improvement of urban ecological environment .It is closely interrelated to resident’s daily life .The greening conditions ,use of landscaping plant species and design of residence areas were studied .This paper provides a basis for landscape design and planning for greening residence areas .
