This work is concerned with the nonlinear matrix equation Xs ＋ A＊F（X）A = Q with s ≥ 1. Several sufficient and necessary conditions for the existence and uniqueness of the Hermitian positive semidefinite solution are derived, and perturbation bounds are presented.
