对密闭电石炉内板结料试样抗压强度和显气孔率进行测定,并结合XRD、热力学模拟计算、SEM及EDS分析,研究其生成反应及板结机理。研究表明:板结料主要组成物质是氧化镁和固定C,质量分数分别为70.1%和20.4%;室温下,试样显气孔率为8.55%,抗压强度为315.60N;板结料形成过程中,镁蒸气与氧气反应优先,镁蒸气与一氧化碳气体反应是主导部分,二者生成氧化镁的量分别占板结料中氧化镁总量的3.2%和96.8%(均为质量分数);料层板结由板结料粉末颗粒团聚和板结料团聚体烧结2个过程组成,温度是块状板结料形成的主要因素。
The compressive strength and porosity of hardened charge sample in a Hermetic Calcium Carbide Furnace (HCCF) was tested, and the formation reactions and mechanism were analyzed by XRD, thermodynamic modeling software, SEM, and EDS methods.As the results showed, the main components of hardened charge were MgO and fixed C, the mass fractions were 70.1% and 20.4% respectively;and the porosity and compressive strength of the sample were 8.55% and 315.60 N at room temperature.During the formation of hardened charge ,the reaction between Mg steam and 02 gas reacted preferentially, and that between Mg steam and CO gas played a dominating role.The contents of MgO derived from the two reactions were 3.2% and 96.8% (mass fraction, both) respectively compared to MgO in total.The formation of hardened charge included two main processes, one was the agglomeration of hardened charge powder, and another was the sintering of agglomeration groups. It could also be found that temperature was the key factor for hardened charge formation.
