针对当前女性在公司董事会任职比例的逐渐增加及相关学术研究的不足,本文以我国A股上市公司为样本,研究董事会中高管职员的性别差异化程度对公司绩效的影响。研究结果表明,我国上市公司董事会中女性高管的增加有利于提高公司绩效,女性担任CEO的公司较男性担任CEO的公司有较好的业绩表现;女性高管平均年龄较大的董事会团队会提高市场的信心,增加公司的市场价值。由此可见,适当增加女性高管人数会更有利于丰富公司信息资源的多样性、提高综合决策能力、培养公司友好文化,从而改善公司绩效。
In view of insufficient academic research on the female executives’ participation in company boards confronted with gradually increasing trend,based on the sample of the Chinese-listed companies,this paper discusses the effect of gender diversity to the performance. The results show that the increasing proportion of women in listed firm boards has benefited to improve performance,and the performance of company with female CEO is better than that with male CEO; The older female executives could improve the market confidence and increase the company’s market value. This shows that properly increase female executives will improve performance by enriching the information resources diversity,increasing compound decision capability and cultivating friendly company culture.
