英文摘要：
This article takes population sex ratio in 2009 30provinces （ including municipalities ） of our country as an example and uses strong clustering function of self - organizing feature map network （ SOM ） in an artificial neural network （ ANN ） to classify our country population, then predicts the sex ratio of the Xinjiang province in 2009, the experimental results show that the prediction results and the actual sex ratio of Xinjiang province is quite similar.
