英文摘要：

An universal and open Identity system for researcher and contributer is an urgent need in the field of scientific ＆ technical information and and scientific publishing. Open Researcher ＆ Contributor ID （ORCID） is a new solution which was developed and promoted by ORCID Initiative, a non-profit organizations dominated by world-renowned s＆t publishing groups, it has broad application prospects. The paper is an overview of its concept implementation and key technologies based on various open literature, including the origin and the organizational structure of the ORCID, objectives and guidelines, disambiguation and assertion and system outlook.Its promotion is discussed in the end. ORCID bear many unique innovative point from its framework to technology and guarantee, worthy of introduction or reference.
