英文摘要：
There are several explanations about the meanings of innovation in research work. This paper discussed a new explanation based on evolutionary game theory, namely voluntary mutation, by the conclusion and study of history of the meanings of innovation. This explanation was proposed based on the evolutionism on one side, and humans＇ social property on the other. The establishment of this explanation will provide an important guidance to the activities of innovation promotion in reality.
