One of the central puzzledom in the current philosophy of diate many problems of meaning compositionality. The opponents of language and analytic philosophy is how to me- meaning compositionality, such as Pelletier, Re- canati,Travis and others publicly condemn and criticize meaning compositionality. Nevertheless the supporters of meaning compositionality, such as Chomsky, Fodor, Davidson and others give strong defense of meaning composition- ality. This paper reviews and rebuilds the controversy, then reflects on the nature of meaning compositionality and explains its important role in the interpretation of natural language.
