The development of smart grid demands the seamless communication and the data sharing among the control center and transformer substations.But there exists correlation,as well as difference between standard IEC 61970 applied in the control center and standard IEC 61850 in the transformer substations,which constitutes the communication barrier.Therefore,this paper highlights the similarities and differences between SCL and CIM model,and attempts to propose a new method for the mutual transformation between the two information models.
