Rural collective forest right system reform in China has basically finished and has had the widespread social influence. However, there is still a long way to go fulfill the task of deepening forest property right reform. In order to protect ecology and ensure farmers＇ benefits, on the one hand, the emphasis of forest right reform should be changed from adjusting the relationship between people and forest and that between people and land to adjusting the relationship between owners and government and the relationship among owners; on the other hand, overall consideration and the key breakthrough should be combined. Focus on mediating forest right disputes, standardiz- ing forest tenure transfer, supporting forest farmers cooperative organization, developing forestry economy and im- proving the public service system so as to deepen the reform of collective forest right system.
