Cordyceps sinensis is a famous and precious nutritious medicinal materials commonly used in China civil society.With more nutritional ingredients than ginseng, it can be used as medicine and edible as a superior delicacy with high nutritive values. Cordyceps sinensis can strengthen the immunity of the organism nourishing human lung and kidney with a strong inhibiting effect on lung cancer. Due to high price of wild cordyceps sinensis,it is not widely received by the market.Through the artificial rearing of Cordyceps sinensis,and then processed to be functional food keeping active substances,the food has some health care effects and can easily be accepted in the market. This article makes an general introduction on the Current situation of cordyceps sinensis product development and then predicts the development prospects of Cordyceps sinensis products in China.
