According to the deformation of the cross universal coupling, the simplified models of contact pressure analysis of joint cross were built, the contact pressure along axial and circular directions were analyzed based on finite element, and the results were compared with the calculated results of 3-D finite element. The distribution regularities of the contact pressure long axial and circular directions were obtained, and the results offered the reference of structural design and strength calculation of joint cross.
