基于中国“蚁族”与美国华人“蚁族”的一项调查研究。在2011年暑期“蚁族”调研的基础上，结合其它调研成果和相关文献，从经济情况、居住环境、婚恋情况、工作情况、心理状况等多个维度出发，对中美两国“蚁族”现状进行了对比研究，并就其成因作了深度剖析。藉此，笔者认为：“蚁族”现象的形成是社会发展、高等教育以及个人三方面因素共同造成的结果。

英文摘要：

The article addresses the situation of Chinese ＂ant colony＂ and American ＂ant colony＂. We conducted an investigation in the summer of 2011. Based on the investigation and literatures studies, we compared the financial situation, the living condition＇ the marriage state, their working condition and the mental state of ＂ant colony＂ in China and America, and analyzed their emergency. It is concluded that the social development, the higher education system in China as well as the personal reasons work together to bring about the ＂ant colony＂ phenomenon.
