＇Internationalization process＇ has been the research hot spot in the field of business internationalization. As one of the important dimension which can be used to describe the character of time and change of international process, the concept of internationalization speed receives more and more attention in the academic field. This paper organizes the previous and latest literature related to internationalization speed, analyzes the connotation of this concept, decomposes the inherent relationship between initial speed and post-entry speed in internationalization process, and constructs the theoretical model of internationaliation speed from the perspective of overall process, so as to lay a foundation for the future research.
