以间苯二酚(R)和甲醛(F)为原料,制备R—F炭气凝胶(RF-CAs)。继以后者为载体采用浸渍还原法制备铂基催化荆Pt/CA,并比较其与由相同负载工艺制得的以Vulcan XC-72为载体的铂基催化剂Pt/XC72的催化甲醇氧化反应的性能。结果表明,前者具明显高的甲醇氧化催化活性,显示CAs是一种极具潜在竞争力的燃料电池催化剂载体材料。
Appropriate pore size and its distribution on the surface of catalyst support is very important for improving the catalyst activity. With the characteristics of large specific surface area, high electrical conductivity, open and continuous three-dimensional mesoporous network of nanoparticles, controllable pore structure, carbon aerogels (CAs) has, in recent years, been paid worldwide great attentions as a kind of innovative support material for PEMFC catalyst. In the present study, CAs, noted as RF-CAs, is prepared with the source materials of resorcinol (R) and formaldehyde (F), and Pt catalyst supported on RF-CAs (abbreviated to Pt/CA) is prepared, its catalytic performance for methanol oxidation is evaluated and compared with that of Pt supported on Vulcan XC-72 (abbreviated to Pt/XC72). The results showed that the catalytic property of Pt/CA is obviously better and CAs is a kind of very promising support material for PEMFC catalyst.
