With the prevailing atmosphere of innovation, established corporations build up internal units to implement the open innovation strategy that may lead to gain competitive advantage of technology. This paper formulates four findings as follows： 1） The strategy objectives of corporate venture capital; 2） The procedure of acquiring core ＂ability though ventures capital investment; 3） The effective approach to manage the corporate venture capital; 4） The management suggestions for the ＇practice of Chinese corporate venture capital.
