Ethnic tourism is actually the utilization and reproduction of local knowledge. On the basis of describing the local knowledge of the Li nationality, this paper demonstrates that the reproduction of local knowledge in the context of tourism can be utilized to ensure the growth of a few female elites in tourism. The win-win choice of female elites which can not only bring economic benefits but also promote the preservation and inheritance of national culture can be used as an optimized path to the development of national culture in the future.
