To understand the meaning in verbal communication can be treated as a pragmatic game between the two sides of communication. When utterance implicates information of cultural background,cultural background will affect communicators＇ strategies and understanding of meaning in a pragmatic game. If cultural background is not taken into consideration,the implicative meaning of this kind of speech can be hardly understood by communicators.
