The positive analysis based on the 5th National Census of China shows significant age-selectivity and skill-selectivity of inter-provincial labor migration of China. This mode of migration selectivity has a strong impact on the inter-regional redistribution of human capital. It is the migration of labors that are younger and acquire higher education from center-and-middle to eastern China that accelerates youngness of age structure and upgrading of skill structure of labor in eastern China. As a result, the interregional disparities of human capital stock rise.
