Thiol-ene photopolymerization is an efficient technology to formulate networking polymer for several decades. Multifunctional thiol compounds are introduced, palying an important role in the networking as a coss-linker. The main features of the thiol-ene photopolymerization and thiol-ene/cation hybrid phtotcurable formulations are summarized. The applications of thiol-ene photocurahle networking polymer in coating, cementing compound, hoimaterials and optical materials are reviewed. In the end, the problems existing and the potential applicable fields are pointed.
