As a new concept, translational medicine is a bridge of communication between medical basic research and clinical medicine. Translational medical science aims to eliminate the barriers between medical basic research and clinical medicine, to facilitate patient benefits from medical sciences rapidly. Directing the development of integrative medicine of pediatrics with the translational medicine concept, Institute of Pediatrics Shanghai Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine conduct preliminary ex- ploration in new situation.
