英文摘要：
The campus ceremonies in universities are an important spiritual method uniting and pro- moting all the members of universities, and take an important place in constructing university culture. In order to develop culture of campus ceremonies in universities and to promote harmony in the universities, we must start in the symbolism of the campus ceremonies. Different campus ceremonies are with different symbolic significances, which combine to integrate all the members to form campus culture and spirits. The solemn and sacred atmosphere of the ceremonies will impress staff and students deeply with strong ed- ucation power. The symbolic image of the ceremonies can show aesthetic implication and education signifi- cance. To promote symbolic function of the ceremonies will be beneficial in realizing teaching and cultiva- ting functions of the campus ceremonies in universities.
