英文摘要：

This paper empirically studies the influence of FDI on technical efficiency in Guangdong province with the panel data of 28 industries over the period of 1999-2004, and with the influence of privatization, scale effect and other domestic factors being considered. The results demonstrate that competition accelerates technical efficiency and personnel flow brings negative effect. Subsequently, it analyzes capital-intensive industry and labor-intensive industry respectively. It concludes that competition is more significant in labor-intensive industry than in capital-intensive industry and so is the negative influence of labor flow effect.
