Using the methods of documentary review, questionaire, mathematical statistics, and expert interview, research was done on school PE's improvement of middle school students' ability to adapt to teaching environment. The results indicates that improving students academic achievements should be an important function for school PE, and made suggestions on the strategies for school PE to improve middle school students' adaptation ability to teaching environment.
