In this paper we discuss the enumerative problem of rooted out-chordless planar maps (a generalization of out-chordless nearly cubic planar maps) with the valency of root-vertex and the size as parameters. By finding a relation between this kind of maps and the rooted nonseparable planar maps, the number of out-chordless maps with the size n is obtained.
