Micro-end-milling is a new manufacturing technology,which can manufacture complex 3D parts. Integral spiral micro-diameter cutter is one of the most active factors of micro-machining. This article takes the overall spiral micro cutter with diameter less than 0.5mm as the research object and introduces its substrate materials,coating materials and their applications. The effects of structural parameters of micro-end milling cutter on the milling processes are also analysed.
