本文利用传统的固态反应法制备了多晶样品YMnO3,并在氧气氛中退火处理.采用X射线衍射和物性测量系统(PPMS-9T)对其进行结构分析及磁性能测试研究.实验结果表明,制备条件对样品的结构、磁性能均有影响.经过三次高温烧结,在氧气氛中退火前后样品均具有很好的六角单相结构,属于P63cm空间群.退火前的样品含有杂质相Mn3O4(其奈尔温度TN=43K),体系内反铁磁(AFM)相与铁磁(FM)相共存,但铁磁信号掩盖了YM-nO3真实的反铁磁相变;而退火后YMnO3样品没有显示出任何Mn3O4杂质相存在的迹象,在低温条件下发生了顺磁(PM)向反铁磁相的转变,磁相变温度TN≈72K.
The polycrystalline samples YMnO3 were synthesized by the conventional solid-state reaction method and then annealed in oxygen atmosphere. The microstructure and the magnetic properties of these samples were studied using XRD and PPMS-9T. The results show that the samples are in good single-phase hexagonal structure,not sensitive to oxygen content,and belong to space group P63cm. Before annealing,the samples contain impurity phase Mn3O4 (Néel temperature TN=43K),in which antiferromagnetic (AFM) phase and ferromagnetic (FM) coexist,but the true YMnO3 antiferromagnetic (AFM) transition is masked by the ferromagnetic (FM) signal in the susceptibility. Nevertheless,the annealed samples do not show any sign of the presence of Mn3O4,and experienced a typical transition from paramagnetism (PM) at high temperature to antiferromagnetic below 72K. The magnetic phase transition temperature TN ≈72K.
