This paper studies cities constructed with the ideas of turtle in ancient China which may be divided into three types as, it＇ s emergence before Sui Dynasty, it＇ s appearance in Tang and Song Dynasties, and in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and dicusses their characteristics.
