英文摘要：

Rural labor migration has contributed to China＇s economic development and poverty reduction significantly. With the coming of the Lewis turning point,China has been faced with many challenges on how to achieve poverty reduction through rural labor migration. This paper uses multiple sources of both macro and micro data to examine the contribution of China＇s rural labor migration to its economic development and poverty reduction and identify the challenges China has been confronted with on this aspect. It points out that,new measures such as strengthening social protection should be taken to reduce rural poverty at the current stage. The paper also puts forward implications of China＇s migration experience to other developing countries.
