Tolerance of ambiguity is a characteristic in English learning. Recently, a series of problems have emerged in the teaching of English reading, including students＇ low reading enthusiasm and poor foundation and teachers＇ old-fashioned teaching methods. This article attempts to start from tolerance of ambiguity, and explores the English reading strategies which are suitable for students with low tolerance of ambiguity to improve the their English reading abihty.
