针对现有换道超车辅助系统的不足,提出了基于车车通信的换道超车辅助系统。以嵌入式系统为核心,使用了IEEE802.11P无线通信技术。对系统的硬件架构和软件算法进行了描述,使用2台试验车于同济大学校园内对系统进行了实地测试,分析了换道超车过程中的时间和速、时间和转速之间变化的相互关系。试验得出在装载辅助系统情况下,2车的平均速度相对于正常情况下分别提高了17.32%和13.92%,速度标准差分别减少了5.34%和49.43%。2车转速分别提高了24.91%和12.31%,转速标准差分别减少了50.06%和48.62%。测试结果表明了该换道超车辅助系统在实地测试中可行,且能提高车辆的行驶速度。
To deal with the shortage of current lane change and overtaking assist system, a novel lane change and overtaking assist system based on vehicle-to-vehicle communication was proposed. This system was developed on an embedded system which supports IEEE 802. 11 p wireless communication technique. The hardware and software architectures were described, and the system was tested in Tongji University campus by two experimental vehicles. In addition, the relationship between time and speed, time and rotation speed were analyzed. After equipped with the lane change and overtaking assist system, the test result indicates that the average speeds of two vehicles increased by 17.32% and 13.92% respectively, the speed standard deviations decreased by 5.34% and 49.43% respectively, the rotation speeds of two vehicles increased by 24.91% and 12.31% respectively, the standard deviations of rotation speeds decreased by 50. 06% and 48.62% respectively. The results show that this lane change and overtaking assist system is feasible in field test and available for improving travel speed.
