Currently,urban regeneration has become important work for new urbanization in China,and the relevant planning also put forward urban regeneration should combined to urban renewal,industrial transformation and upgrading. With the help of regeneration experience at Ploblenou of Barcelona which is the first innovation district in the world,the paper explores the planning work,driver and mechanism for urban regeneration,economic recovery and social restructure. And also,the paper tries to summarize a transformation mode which can be copy and learn in the fields of development idea,regeneration work and development mechanism,implementation path.
