Private Universities,as the important part of Chinese higher education and also the important point of increasing,are realizing their transformation development. This is not only the general amending for their original model,but also the process toward innovation and new changes. When facing the new requirements on university transformation that are raised by the national economic transformation,private universities should base themselves on their own practical conditions,catch the opportunities,and try to do what the current situation require of them.The basic strategies,such as the distinguishing features and brand,dislocation and heterogeneity,melting of multi factors,market orientation,and multi-innovation etc,should be clearly determined in the transformation development; in the transformation development the great efforts should be made to explore and find out the basic practical routes concerning the top-level design,ideals of running school,and social services etc; and it is necessary to quicken the steps for transformation development continuously,innovate the mode for talent cultivation,make great efforts to cultivate special talents with high quality and skill in the frontline of production,construction,management and service so as to effectively serve the local economic and social development.
