自1990年以来,新加坡建屋发展局持续翻新旧的公共住宅(组屋),以应对其物理性的老化和居民构成的改变。一方面从邻里、楼栋和住宅内部3个层面切实改善了居住环境,达到新区的标准;另一方面,翻新并不迁离居民,维系了原有的社区关系和凝聚力;并相继推出主要翻新、中期翻新、电梯翻新、邻里更新、家居改善等计划,有效恢复了旧组屋区的活力。
In response to the physical aging of house and the change of residents' composition, Singapore HDB has renovated old public housing successively since 1990. It not only effectively betters the residential environment of neighborhood, block and flats' interior by standard of new area, but also maintains initial community's relationship and cohesion without uprooting the residents. It revitalizes the old housing area by successively promoting different program, such as: main or interim renovation, lift remodeling, neighborhood renewal and home improvement.
