The problem of traffic safety on exp prominent. Through traffic characteristics analysis ressways in mountainous to an expressway under areas becomes increasing operation in Guangdong mountainous area, traffic accidents data over 5 years, driving speed investigation and predication, combining with the accumulative frequency curve method, operating speed coordination analysis and comments from expressway administration departments, the sections of traffic hazardous locations are justified, and causes of traffic accidents are analyzed. Consequently the systematic traffic countermeasures are put forward. Traffic signs, traffic markings, guardrails and anti-dazzle facilities etc are designed in detail in order to improve the traffic safety.
