In search for neonicotinoid insecticides with high activity, seven novel bivalent compounds were prepared from imidacloprid as precursor compound. Their structures were confirmed by 1H NMR and elemental analysis. The preliminary bioassay indicated that these compounds showed insecticidal activity.
