波时分光源在光取样、全光串并转换等领域有重要的应用前景。本文报道了一种波时分光源的实现方案:利用大功率窄光脉冲的自相位调制作用,将脉冲谱展宽。通过一个偏振干涉仪(P1)进行光谱切片,形成多波长脉冲。再经过色散光纤的色散走离,使得多波长窄脉冲在时间上形成与波长间隔和色散量有关的分布。由于PI要以通过调节差分群延时(DGD)的大小很方便地改变切出的波长间隔,这样就可以准确地调整不同波长脉冲走离的间隔。最后实验实现了20GHz(4×5GHz和5×4GHz)的波时分光脉冲。
Optical time and wavelength-interleaved pulse source has very important applications in all-optical sampling and optical serial-parallel conversion. In this paper, a scheme of OW/TDM is reported. By ufillizing the self-phase modulation (SPM) of high powr short pulse,the optical spectrum is broadened. Through spectral slicing by using a polarization interferometer(PD, the multi-wavelength pulses are obtained and can be aligned as a higher repeat frequency pulse source with proper wavelength spacing due to the dispersion division effect in optical fibre. Because the wavelength spacing can be tuned by changing the differential group delay(DGD) in PI,the time division amount multi-wavelength pulses is able to be accurately controlled. Finally, the 20 GHz (4 × 5 GHz and 5 × 4 GHz) OW/TDM pulse source is demonstrated in experiment.
