Cross-border mergers and acquisitions becomes an important way for enterprises＇ development in the era of the global economic integration.According to Sinopec＇s characteristics,this paper defines the major influencing factors of cross-border mergers and acquisitions to Sinopec＇s competitive ability by sorting through the methods of initial screening and principal component analysis.On this basis,the paper researches on the impact of cross-border mergers and acquisitions on Sinopec＇s competitiveness by single factor analysis using financial index.This study can provide reference for Sinopec to enhance its competitive ability through cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
