Chongqing is located at the joint of the three line s, the significance of the strategy is of great importance for the development of Chongqing. The good development of multimodal transport in Chongqing is conducive to the promotion of the big development of the west, the rise of the central region and the economic development radiation of the surrounding areas . Therefore, through the present situa-tion analysis of the strategic position of Chongqing and the Chongqing freight transportation development, a relatively complete multimodal transport system is conducted, which may play an important role in the economic, cultural and social development in Chongqing, Sichuan and Chongqing city group.
