防御素（defensins）是一组具有广谱抗微生物活性的多肽，参与机体对微生物的防御作用，是维持免疫应答的重要因子。近年来，防御素家族在机体防御体系中的作用日益受到研究者的重视。本文综述防御素的分布、结构及其在免疫应答中作用，探讨其与溃疡性结肠炎（ulcerative colitis，uc）关系和应用前景。

Defensins are kinds of polypeptides with broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity, which are involved in the defense against microorganism and are the important determiners of keeping immune response. In the recent years, the defensins have attracted great attention because of their roles in the organism defense system. In this paper, we review the defensins＇ distributions, structures, the roles in the immune response and relationships with ulcerative colitis as well as their future application prospects.
