β1 -adrenergic receptor （β1 -AR ） down regulation or knockout may effectively decrease blood pressure in SHR mice.Instead , up regulation of β1-AR would show an opposite effect：increasing heart rate, arrhythmia and hypertension.The research focused on how β1 -AR influence cardiovascular system and the blood pressure in different levels of expressions.This study could help us know more about β1-AR gene and β1 -AR, their functions and the corelation between β1 -AR and blood pressure changes.
