ABS是本世纪40年代发展起来的通用型热塑性材料,它有良好的力学性能,耐化学腐蚀、易加工等优点旧剖。ABS树脂已被广泛应用于家电、建筑、汽车、办公用品等行业。但ABS极易燃烧,限制了其在很多的领域的应用。因此,阻燃ABS的研究一直是高分子阻燃材料领域的研究热点和难点之一。目前,对于ABS的阻燃化研究,仍然以添加含溴系阻燃剂和无机阻燃剂为主。
A novel halogen-free fame-retardant system, which is consist of the synthesized intumescent flame retardant (M-IFR)and coating red phosphorus (RP) , was used for the flame retardation of ABS. The flame retardancy of the resulting flame retardant system was investigated by LOI, UL94 and Cone Calorimeter, respectively. The results show that when a mass ratio of M-IFR to RP is 8:5 and their total loading is 26wt% ,the flame-retardant ABS system has very good flame retardancy: LOI 24.5 % and UL-94 V- 0 rating. Based upon the cone calorimeter test,it can be found that the flame-retardant ABS system has much lower PHRR, THR and AMLR and longer tign, than neat ABS. Therefore, the novel halogen-free fame-retardant system is a very promising system for the flame retardation of ABS.
