The new sugarcane variety Yunzhe05-51 with early-maturing and high sugar content that have the potential to promote was tested under different cultivation time, different quantity of seeds, different fertilization and different film mulching utilization. The results showed： （1） January and February were suitable planting date for high cane yield; （2） The high cane yield was gained while the quantity of seeds was added to 10000 - 9000 seeds/667m^2; （3） The theoretical cane yield was to be 14.21 t/667m^2 when N fertilizer 80 kg/mu and farmyard manure 1000 kg/667m^2 were applied; （4） The cane yields of whole film mulching increased by 52.6% （4.16 t/ 667m^2） and 64.1%（4.71 t/667m^2）in comparison with half film mulching and no film, respectively.
