Veterinary drugs or their metabolites could be discharged to the environment, and have potential pollution effect on ecosystem at different levels. This paper reviewed their pollution origins, impacts on environment, environmental risk assessment system, and the dire need of research fields in veterinary drugs pollution management for our country.
